About the Opportunity
As a Staff Security Engineer at OKX, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our platform, which serves millions of daily active users. You will collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to identify security risks, design protective mechanisms, and deliver robust security operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with the full security lifecycle of crypto and Web3 platforms while working alongside a top-tier security team to counter global threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for the client security team.
- Build and manage big data analytics systems for security maintenance.
- Implement advanced security measures to protect user data and platform integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications We Look For
- 6+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proficiency in backend development with Java, and familiarity with Flink and Kafka.
- Experience in designing and developing high-performance, highly concurrent systems.
- Strong system architecture and optimization skills.
- Background in security or risk control fields.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English.

- Experience in client SDK development.
- Knowledge of client security backend development, such as device fingerprinting or signature protection.

Compensation and Application
The salary range for this position is $178,888 to $268,333, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Performance bonuses and long-term incentives may also be included. Applicants should apply through OKX’s internal or external careers site.
